Okay so I'm new to Audis, I just bought a 1997 a4 and love it so far.. besides the wiring...
So i bought it with an aftermarket stereo. The front speakers were not working when I got it.
I installed my stereo. I installed all wire into the harness ignoring the t-connections that were there. I found that only the front speakers worked, so i hooked up the back speaker wires to the t-connecters and now only back speakers work with a CD/Mp3 in... But when I use aux only the front passanger side speaker works....
Can someone please help? Thanks

They'll be pre-out feeds to the rear amp. You need to hook them up to the rear pre-outs (RCA's) of the new HU.

If the Audi harness is unmolested then you need an adapter which coinverts the mini-ISO Audi harness into regular RCA sockets which will plug straight into the new HU rear RCA's. But it sounds like someone has chopped this harness in which case you need to connect some regular RCA sockets onto it and plug it in.
If you can post a pic it will all become clear as to what they've done.
