Professional Install Only?
Anyone have experience purchasing components on the web and having them installed professionally? I haven't checked around yet, but are shops generally disinclined to install parts you purchase elsewhere? The savings of internet vs. dealer on components is so great I'm having a hard time justifying a bricks & mortar purchase; yet I don't have the experience to install myself. Thanks in advance.

Some place might charge tiny bit more than other.....
IE: Sound In Motion Charges 65 an hour for installation with customer stuff. 55 for store product. Other than that they dont really care, because you're paying for the installation. I bought alot from the web. Its simply the cheapest place on earth. =)

what I did was buy everything except the headunit off the internet, and then all was good.
I got a sick deal on the install... headunit; 2amps; amp-rack; 2 sets of components(including custom rear doors);sub ... all for < $250
