Hi Guys,

Well, my saga continues.
Received the new CD changer today, the problem remained exactly the same. Loads and ejects fine, but no devices under CD-Source. I can see it fine under the set-up menu, and vag-com communicates ok, only CP active. Tried updating again - Error CD can not be read.
So what is next?? Interfacebox faulty?? Getaway problem??

Really running out of options here. I blame it on the Control head j523, but not sure. Are there any tricks to reset/reconfigure the Control unit??

Any help would be great, as even my dealership were 100% that new changer would fix the problem, but they'll have to contact head-office now for more info.

Yes i did, and after some discussion, i have decided to order a new Control Head unit J523.

It's finally sorted.
The problem was that my SW version was too low to support MP3 player.
I only found out now that the dealer replaced the CD player, only few thousand k's before i got the car. Still unclear why they did it, without updating the system.
So i got hold of an older 111A player, updated the system fine, then the MP3 player started working.
