Default Question about car cell phone antennas...

I purchased and received an antenna for my Verizon Wireless (CDMA) Motorola V710 phone. X10 had a special on it last week for $8 and I snaped it quick (price has gone up now). Been meaning for the longest time to replace the current interior antenna. It was always a bit too big for my tastes. Anyway I received the antenna just today and the package clearly states for Multiband, GSM 900/1800, AMPS, and UMTS. Does not indicate CDMA or PCS anywhere.

Will this work with VZW and my phone? My searches on the Internet do not clearly state this. They all say this same antenna is Dual Band. That's it. Trying to confirm before I open the package... otherwise $8 is not hard to swallow .

Appreciate any feedback.<ul><li><a href="http://www.x10.com/electronics/allcategories/electronics/phonescommunications/accessories/cellphone/cell_phone_accessories_hirschman_927311-901.html">Hirschmann Interior Glass-Mount Slim Patch Antenna @ X10</a></li></ul>

You can use that for verizon service......It is a decent antenna.....the raytel ones are a bit better because the wire comes out from the middle part so you tuck the wire away in the upper headliner area......but yes you can use it.

yup....you can mount that antenna anywhere you want on the window....if you mount it at the top of the window in the center, the headliner consol that holds the power sunroof switch..map lights..etc... actually blocks it from being seen....just make sure you have enough cable to run it down to the "A" pillar and to where you put your H/F kit. Good luck!
