Default Question about cell phone car charger voltage...

I have cell phone charger that has a DC output of 5 volts/2 amps. The only replacement charger I can find is 5 volts/ 800 milliamps. Should I be concerned that the amps are different even though the voltage is the same?

what brand/model of cell phone are you referring to? are you talking about a 12v or 120v charger

only if you want the phone to charge. That's a lot of current @5V
