I understand there are 2 types of HEX series, the A and the S. The A series have aluminum tweeters, while the S series have silk tweeters. I'm wondering how does those 2 sound differnt? which one do you prefer?

If you listen to more instrumental/ vocal stuff, the silks do a great job of accurately reproducing the sounds in a very flat and smooth nature. but if you're into death metal and heavy rock, the metal tweets will give you the extra brightness you need to make your ears bleed from the cymbal hits and the electric guitar riffs. I'm just partial to the silks...were you able to guess that?

dyn's need bigger watts than diamond's.
you can drive 100w to diamond's and they'll sound great. but dyn's, you need at least 150w for it to show what they really are. i drive them by 400watts each channel (100x4 bridged to 400x2). they sound amazing...
