Question for those of you with DLS components/amps experience...

FYI, these components are going into an Audi A3 8P.
I'm considering either the UP6's, or the reference R6A's. The UP6's are obviously the better, but all I'm really looking for is a noticeable leap above the flat Bose, which the R6A's may or may not provide. So, are the UP6's that much better than the R6A's? I can easily afford both, but I'm the type that doesn't buy something unless its needed.
Now I've come to amp choice. I'm really liking the DLS classic CA31 3 channel, because it can power my whole system. Its rated at 65x2 RMS (4ohms) and has a mono sub channel @ 280 RMS (2ohms). My first question is, with the 3 channel amp, can I run the sterio channels @ 4 ohms while simultaneously running the mono channel at 2 ohms?
That aside, my next question involves wattage. 65 watts RMS is 15 watts under the 80 watts RMS of the R6As, and well under the 150 watts RMS of the UP6s. Given that this is one of DLS's lower-range amps, and also considering its lowish power when held to the UP6's, would the R6A's be the better choice here? Also, my sub is rated at 300 watts RMS, and (I believe) 600 peak. Would the 280 watts RMS of this amp cut it for this sub? I'm not looking for SPL, but SQ...
Any thoughts?
Thanks very much for your time.

Pe - Electrical power rating - has NOTHING to do with how much power the speaker NEEDS.
My wife's car has UP6 running off of the front half of a DLS CA41 (as I mentioned before, but since it's a forum).
Several forum members have "50-watt-by-four" Zapco amps running DLS UP6 in A3s.
BTW, I don't know where you would install any DLS amp in an A3 out of sight. In an A4 Avant, it's cake. In an A3, eh, I dunno.
