One: they are hideous devices and should only be used as a last resort.
Two: you have pre outs going into the Bose amp
Three: the Bose amp output has the EQ tweaked so you won't get full frequency output using a line level converter

Hey,
I'm bout to get an amp/sub installed in my S4 with Bose, using a line out converter as well. The Tweeter store said they would use a line out converter and tap into the rear speakers(??) to do the install.
So this is bad? What should I tell them to do instead? I'm not too audio savy, so I would appreciate some detailed info. Thanks man!

Tap into the rear line outs feeding the Bose amp, you'll also get the remote turn on feed from here.
Can't remember which wires but you can easily find them with a multimeter & a small speaker. Once you've located the permanent 12v supply & earth (thick cables), you should be able to locate the "remote on" feed.
You are then faced with rear speaker output left & right, and front speaker output left & right.
The other 4-8 wires are the line outs. They push out about 1v with stereo on loud. So just enough to power a small speaker. The 2 you want are the rear ones so fade the HU to rear only.
If you have a Bose sub, then the whole thing is easier as you have less wires to deal with.
