Default Question: Use amp filters with external crossover?

I'm using an external crossover to send high pass signal to my 4 channel amp and low pass to my mono block for the subwoofer. Should I also enable the high/low pass filters built in to each amplifier just to be safe and filter out any noise or are there cons to this?

Thanks,
Chuck

Default The external crossover probably assumes no other bandpass devices

so is set up to handle it cleanly. You might be able to cascade filters successfully or, more likely, you can end up with some funny combined response problems between the lopass and hipass.
