For my 99 A4 1.8QTMS:
I'm planning on installing a set of Boston Acoustics Pro 5.5's in the front and RX67's in the rears. Also I plan to run some sort of 4-channel amp to push the speakers. The question I have is, do I have to use the MB Quart adapters in the front doors? Or can they simply drop in without modification to the door. Also I know that the grill is shaped for a 4" driver, but will I also need to modify this as well? Any other adapters or hardware that I will need to do this install?
Thanks
Derrick

Watch the speaker depth, some magnets will hit when you roll the window down. And get the Blaplunkt adapter for your line-outs. You'll need to cut the existing pin block to use the adapter, but IMO it's the easiest way to tap in to the radio for the amp. BTW, it's definitely worth it!!
