LISN2ME2003

So I took my 03 cab into the dealer yesterday because the radio reception was coming and going whrn i hit a bump or closed the trunk. They said that it is the antenna and the transmitter int the back and they would have to run a all new antenna and replace the transmitter for $1500.00. Has anyone had this happen to them or have any suggestions on a do it yourself fix. thanks so much.
