I have B&O sound system in an A5 coupe.
I got a fault on OBD11..... B106b11... Right effects speaker...short circuit to ground.
These are the speakers either side of the sub woofer on the parcel shelf (rear deck)
I had not noticed any difference in sound quality.
I. checked and the speaker was not emitting sound and the left one was not working either.
I took the car into an auto electrical specialist.
They confirmed the following.
They reset the amplifier, but the speakers still did not work. They ran out of ideas.
Do you have any suggestions on what to try next?

I took the car into an auto electrical specialist.
They confirmed the following.
- voltage emitted from speaker wires
- no wiring fault
- Speakers working by testing on a known working source.
They reset the amplifier, but the speakers still did not work. They ran out of ideas.
Do you have any suggestions on what to try next?

Or go aftermarket.
Or ignore the issue until your mains blow out eventually.
