Hi all,
I've just spent most of the week-end installing a new head unit (the Clarion VRX935VD) in my 2004 TT 3.2 and I've got almost everything working.
I purchased the Scosche VW01B wiring harness from sounddomain.com and connected the front speakers through it.
According to this diagram, the front speaker inputs are clearly labeled as LF +/- and RF +/-
<img src="http://ttbipes.home.comcast.net/jpgs/headunitwiring.jpg">
However, I can't figure out whether the RR/LR/COM pins are for the rear speakers or not. Would RR be the + for rear right, LR the + for rear left, and COM the - ??
Do I also need to connect the "Remote Amp Sw. On" pin, and if so, to what wire function?
Also, where can I get a wiring harness with a connector that would match that bottom plug?
Thanks for your help,
Marc
PS: BTW, the "Dash Lights" (I) and switched +12v (S) connectors are not on the car's connector anymore, so I had to route the HU's wires for those connections all the way to the fuse box (thanks again Andy aka MacSub for figuring the +12v out!)
