Default Removed CD Changer and now my radio won't power up at all

Hi, as the subject says, I just removed a 3rd party CD Changer from my 1997 Audi A4 and all I did was cut 3 wires that was going to the FM Modulator (+,- and GND) and now the unit won't power up at all (there's still a +, - and GND going to the radio). If I turn on the lights of the car, the radio lights illuminate as well, so that rules out no power (or does it).

Can anyone tell me what's happening or can point me in the general direction? Thanks

Did you cut the wires at the same time? That would have caused a short and popped the fuse. Check the raido fuse.
