Hello,
I checked the archives and could not find a answer to this question. How to restart a keyless remote for a 1996 A4 after changing the battery? Please advise.

someone just posted in the b5 forum about it maybe 2 weeks ago....
I couldn't tell you exactly but you have to have 2 keys..one in the dor and one in the on position in the ignition then you do somemthing with the buttons on the remote until the doors lock. snoop around..you'll find the answer. Actually I think it's says in the car manual how do do it.
