Default retrofit concert

guys hi!
this is my first post, but been checking it out for ages. very useful!
i have just bought a '96 a4 1.8t sport, which has had the stereo changed to a sony minidisc head unit, with a cd changer in the boot. but id just like a standard concert tape/radio up front, with a cd changer in the boot.
can i use the same cd cable, and the same changer?
all of the connectors seem to have been changed behind the stereo, except for the brown and black iso fittings, which i think are power and sound. though these dont fit into the relevant slots on the back of the refurbed concert head unit i now have.
any ideas?

Default the black ISO is power and the brown ISO is front speakers and they definately do fit the concert

The bit you need to identify is the non standard 20 pin mini ISO connector, long thin black or multicoloured connector. This provides 3 functions. The feed to the rear amp, the changer bus cable and the feed to the DIS.
If they've hacked this off then you have a major job to identify what goes where as there are 20 pins to reconnect.
The Sony won't be driving the stock changer, so you'll need to replace that as well.
The stock changer cable should still be there if you rummage around in the bottom of the cubbyhole.
