and you could try to find it, somebody explained in deep detail what to do to run your new wire into the door. I didn't do that however just because of the same reason - tight space.
I used female socket under the dash to connect to all door speakers from the amp.

Does it go back together as tight as original? I'd be bummed if I ended up with squeaks and rattles after taking the doors and sills off for my install. Guess I don't have any other options though.

If you're really concerned about that, then replace all of the clips whether you broke them or not. That way, in theory, it'll be just like when Audi assembled the door and should be just as 'tight'. Just a thought...

...up at the top where the panel meets the glass are a real beatch to get in right. Did have a squeak and rattle in the right rear door. Had to reposition the sill, add some foam to the back of the tweeter, and tie done the crossover cover. Other than that, it was all good.
