S4 B8 Door Speakers
Anyone know the size and mounting depth on the newer B8 S4? I plan on ordering a 2013 soon and have a set of BA 6.5 Components I would love to use that have been dormant since I got a BMW.
One of my biggest beefs with BMW is they use crappy 4 in 100mm for their doors mount speakers. Even going with top level Focals or MB Quartz you still wont get the quality you can achieve with a good set of Boston Acoustic 6.5's.
Any advice (constructive) would be appreciated. I am planning out what I will do once it arrives sound wise.
I will be keeping the H/U in place and using an "Audio Control" line level + EQ to add amps and better gear, while leaving controls and stock appearance intact.
