Sat Nav Install in S3 - Climate Control problems
Hi all,
As part of my Nav install I'm trying to upgrade the Climate controls I have from the 99 model (which is the one with the twin LCD screens) to the newer model which has a single screen and intergrated heated seat switches and the reaer screen demister.
Looking on the back of the units they both have the same 4 large multiway adaptors and the newer unit also has 3 extra sockets for the seats and what I presume is for the heated rear screen.
The problem is that the unit I have doesn't appear to power up or show any signs of life. I was wondering if anyone has any information on the wiring of these units or the car loom so I can start to trace what is going wrong. I grabbed another cheap unit off ebay and that didn't work either so I'm guessing Audi have kindly reworked the power connector or similar.
Thanks for any help / advice.
Cheers,
Chris.
