Default satellite radio ?

Is it possible to retro fit a '03 A4 with an in dash Audi satellite radio? Secondly, is there a way to install a Sat. antenna that will function with this potential radio/opportunity?

Default You will need a new head unit, ...

the OEM SAT receiver and some custom harness between the head unit and the SAT receiver. Can be done, has been done. Check Lee's "Upgrade from Symphony I to Symphony II radio and install OEM satellite radio without factory pre-wiring", yours will be similar.

http://www.nsxjr.com</a

Default New headunit... $200. XM tuner... $175. Prices for used items and are approximate.

You wont have to do any rewiring in section 1 of the pdf file. just install the new headunit plug and play. then follow section 2 to install the sat tuner.

Dont worry about section 3 either, if you have a MFSW, it will still work with the new headunit.

You wont have the CDC plug in the trunk. Therefore, you will have to connect the three audio wires from the sat tuner (pins 5,6,7) directly to the headunit (pins 18,19,20) by other means.
