Can anyone tell me what the correct part number would be for the Sirius module that would go with a 2007 Audi A4? Your assistance would be very much appreciated.

atellite Radio Part # for 2007 Audi A4
Hey Everyone,
I'm trying to locate a satellite radio module for my 2007 Audi A4. I called the dealer and they gave me the part numbers below but I'm a little confused because the part numbers on eBay are 8E0 035 593 which are listed for the Sirius radio but the dealer listed it as XM radio.
Also I heard that the newer Audis only support Sirius but the dealer said that they have both modules that will fit my car. Anyway they want $500 for the module alone so I'm trying to find a better deal on eBay. Can you help me locate the right part number?
My car is non bose, non satellite.
Dealer Sirius - 8E0 057 595 D
Dealer XM - 8E0 035 593 G
eBay Sirius - 8E0 035 593

ebay and the classifieds on here are the best places to find one of these for less. also, you might try looking at some of those auto salvage companies, some of them have nationwide searches.

Installed a sat tuner number 8E0 035 593 D in my 07 A4. The factory prewire only included a single antenna connection. The 8E0 035 593 D has two connections for antenna. The radio now picks up the preview sat channels but the word antenna remains on the screen. Is this the result of my car only having the green connector and not the second connector which happens to be brown. Is there an adapter to correct this problem? Thanks in advance for the help!!

Archie,
From what i hear there are two things you need.
1) you definately need to have someone with vag-com change the settings on your radio to show that you have SAT radio hooked up. From what i have heard, if you can hear the radio on one channel, but can not switch channels, then this is the symptom
2)I've heard this may or may not be needed to use an older unit with your newer car. I would try using Vag-com first, if that doesn't solve it, i would try ordering an adaptor like this. I THINK (might check on their return policy) this is the right part for a Fakra splitter.
Good luck, and report back. http://kufatec.com/index.php?main_pa...oducts_id=1075
