on the fence about getting a trailblazer ss or srt8 jeep for something to drive everyday. That being said i am already planning a system.
i have always been into heavy bass at a younger age. 6 10's as my biggest system. Now i want to focus on sq.
tell me what you think
morel 12 inch
morel components
audison amps

The crossover and tone controls built into the head unit just doesn't cut it for a true SQ system. You'll want to run your morel components active (without the passive crossover) so you can adjust crossover points and slopes from your DSP. This will give you maximum control over your sound.
You can do better than Morel subs for the price. Image Dynamics makes great SQ subs. The IDQ series is a great sub at a relatively low price compared to Morel and the performance is much better. There are many others out there but the key is all in the tuning.

I do like Morel components and I'm even considering using them for my new car but the subs are way overpriced. The problem I have is that the stock speakers are 4" and I'm not sure if there's enough room to fit a 5" in there. That would give me way more choices in terms of speaker selection.
I'm not one who likes to limit myself to all one brand of equipment when putting together a system. There is no one manufacturer that makes the best of everything to its best to shop with purpose. What are you really looking for out of a certain piece of equipment? Who much are you willing to spend? How does it match up with the rest of the system in terms of sound, aesthetics, system integration? Those are the things I typically look at when choosing equipment.

...my sisters bf has an SRT8 Jeep as his daily. Thought it was a great idea when he first got it. It gets 10-11mpg at it's best, and we are currently looking for a cheap beater for the "daily" now, as trading it in will mean taking a beating in the value.
The Trailblazer is the same story. my neighbor has one, and winds up using his wifes camry as the daily.
