EDIT: The inside of the door is actually the color of the car, its black in my pictures because I applied Cascade VB2 to the major surfaces that I could get to. The door comes stock with 2 piece of sound deadning material, so I didn't apply over that area in one spot, but did in the other because I was being stupid when I did that piece. You can see the difference in color of the black cascade VB2 and the stock piece (it has some yellow writing on it)
There are slight variances in the interior of the door between all 1st gen A4s. This is a 2001/2001.5 door panel and interior, as well as a few other pictures.

This is weere the speaker magnet goes. The window comes down into this area, so there isn't much room for anything much deeper than the stock speakers.

For those with bose, this is the cell phone speaker

Now reference back to the full shot pictures, I put some felt pads here because the plastic pieces hits against the metal and I figured it's probabyl making some of my door noises. This is at the top of the door

One more place for pads. This towards mid door.

Lasltly, I took grazy glue and glued in all of the rubber pieces that the door hooks sit on. Some were very loose and I think,e ven though they are rubber, they were rattling against the metal and make some noises.
I also taped down a few wires inside the door and inside the door panel itself that had some free play in them and could be hitting things.
