Sony headunit that has "BUS INPUT" RCA jacks on back - is this aux? will ipod work?

Sony headunit that has "BUS INPUT" RCA jacks on back - is this aux? will ipod work?

It's for a different car but I'm not sure if BUS is synonimous with AUX.

headunit is not installed in a car yet, so i can't "test"

got a feeling that needs a Sony "BUS" adapter to make it work.

I have a CDX-m750 with an XM1... the RCA jacks are not like an aux on mine

the two rca input jacks are just for carrying the audio into the headunit. the control signals are sent from the XM unit through the cd changer hookup. without the control signal my source button just switches back between am/fm and the single CD slot.

One better the XA300

I had my empeg RioCar hooked up via this unit. It worked great and much better SQ...IMO. Plus it has tons of input options even USB.
