We have a '00 A4 and a '00 A6. Both are equipped with the identical Symphony radio. However, my wife's A6 stereo sounds much better and seems to have a much stronger amplifier (i.e. the bass is stronger and the speakers to do not "brap" at moderate to high volumes).

Could this be a direct relationship to the accoustics of each car, or, should they both sound about the same?

A4 is 80 watts. A6 is 140 watts. (according to model guide)

Thanks for the help. I do believe the amp is much larger in the A6...
