Soundstream Exact 12" any good?

It's a couple years old but brand new. Is the newer stuff so much better, or is this older unit still good?

soundstream makes good subs. The exact series was intended more for SQ than SPL, so if you're not looking to make people's ears bleed, then its a good choice. I used to run soundstream subs, and i loved them

Thanks, sound quality is paramount. 200 - 300W max.
