Okay folks, for those that enjoyed my FAQ on the Nokia install, but were jealous because they had a startac, fret no more. I'll be installing a startac in my new '00 1.8t with bose. Those that have been e-mailing me about the '00 vs the '99 and before, the faq will obiously cover the new model. To preempt some questions, I do NOT know if the '01 has changed things.

Stay tuned, it'll be about two weeks, since I can only squeeze it in on free time when the kids are in bed for the night.

What type of connector will you be using from the StarTac?
I have an after-market "hands free" unit that plays thru the stereo at 89.7 mhz, but I want to use that phone connector to wire it into the RJ-45 jack in the TT.
OR...
I have also found a place that is getting me info. on a StarTac connector and cable, out to just wires.
I have *another* source that provided me with the pin-outs for the StarTac.
Putting it all together...well, I'm interested in seeing how you will do it.
