Stock Bose and SVC ...
A few times while listening to my stock Bose stereo with XM and CD, I've noticed that as I roll to a stop the volume decreases. So, I thought I had the SVC (Speed Volume Control) on. Well, I pressed and held the "MENU" button, and cycled through only 3 options (Max Volume On, Radio/Nav, Phone). Where's the SVC option? How do I turn it off? Anyone got any ideas?

Re: Stock Bose and SVC ...
Audi and Bose changed the stock radio halfway through the 2004 year group. It now uses Bose's "Autopilot noise compensation" technology. It's supposed to be a better system, but it still seems to have issues with controlling the base at lower volumes.
The web address is too long to post, but go to www.bose.com, click on "vehicles" and "audi". It has a good explanation of how the autopilot system works.
