The factory navigation in my b5 won't turn on anymore. There is no power going to the deck in the trunk where the cd is loaded and when I try to start it up with the controls next to the emergency brak nothing happens! I checked the fuse but the manual says it's one slot and the sticker on the panel says it's something else. Regardless I checked all my fuses and all were fine. I had to remove my radio to replace the fuse behind it not to long ago...is it possible that I messed something up when removing and reinstalling the radio? Has anyone had this problem??

1) check the fuse behind the nav drive in the trunk; could've blown...maybe unrelated
2) find someone with a VAG-COM and check and see if there are any error messages. Worth a shot. Could be a quick reconfigure exercise.
3) check power connectors behind nav CD-drive. You could try to disconnect them...and reconnect them to see if it resets itself.
Good luck!

I didn't even think to look behind the drive for a fuse. It took awhile to take it out but atleast I found the problem. I wonder how I blew it...oh well. Thanks man!
