Default sub suggestion--

I currently have 3 jl 10w6's in a individually ported box. It seems to be a little overkill and i need more trunk space(the ported box literally takes up the entire trunk). Also its really boomy and im looking for tighter base-- this is probably do the the setup and not the subs as i have heard that these can be really tight. What would you guys recommend i replace it with-- i have someone who wants to buy the box and subs as is and fear that i would have trouble selling a 3 sub box with only 1 sub in it (if i used the other 2). It will be run off of a Fosgate 1000db (2 ohm - 1000 watts) All of the interior speakers are also upgraded & the head i have has great sub control.
Im either looking at a single 12 or 2 10's -- in a sealed box. I listen to a lot of Rock everything from 70's to today ( if that makes a difference). Thanks for help

500/1 is not even enough power for a 12w7, they take 1000/1 and MORE

I disagree that a 500/1 isn't enough. But I do agree that they can take much more.
