okay i have my 2 12" subs facing rearward, but how far away should i place them from the back of the trunk(where the license plate is)? All the way back leaning against the rear seats? or close to the trunk?

place them next to the rear seat. I have two 12" xtant subs and they are right next to the back seat facing the rear and sound beautiful.
