Subwoofer question...
I've seen several posts where people have said that you could build a better sub and enclosure for the same money as a Basslink unit. Sooo... with that in mind... what would you do to get nice tight bass on a budget equivalent to the cost of a Basslink ($250)? The whole ball of wax... amp, driver, and enclosure. (I'm handy with tools so building my own isn't out of the question).

...If I had the time I am sure I could put together a decent amp with eq and crossover, and a small box sub with a low cost driver for under $250. I dont have the time.
If I had enough time I could hunt around for used equipment (sub/enclosure and amp/crossover) that would work as well for that price. Again I dont have the time.
I have the Basslink.
