Default Voltage question
Thinking about getting a power supply for bench testing. Am I correct saying that the typical voltage in a car is between 11.5V and 14.5V? If so, a power supply delivering 13.8V should be fine to test head units and peripherals, is it?

Yes that will be fine, most audio boards in car audio stores run at 12.5V
