Default what resistance/watt rating are they?

use that to determine how much power to get...as for brands, i've had good experiences with my MTX and JBL amps. i've heard good things about Directed Audio's amps and i might be getting one of theirs soon (4 channel for door speakers). also, you can't go wrong with JL audio, or so i'm told

Default wire in parallel and antyhing thats 2 ohm stable

what are you looking for in an amp? what kinda box? if ported how is it tuned? if its low you might not need a ssf(depending on taste), if its high you WILL need a ssf. if its sealed you'll be okay without one.

what kind of range do you need in terms of processing. do you want/need adjustable xover point?

you'll want something close to 600 watts @ 2 ohms, maybe 800 if you like headroom and know what you're doing.

if you dont need a SSF you can get the jbl 600.1. 600 watts @ 1 and 2 ohms. i had one and loved it, but no adjustable frequency bass boost and no SSF. if you dont need those things you'll be fine.

That JBL is a good bang for the buck. You can do some damage with that thing.

Default I bet. We had one 1200.1 on 3 JL 10w3s. It tried to take the bumper of that mustang....LOL

If I didn't get the deal I got on my Xtant 1001, I would have bought a 600.1 or 1200.1. It's just tought to beat the Watt per $ of those AMPs.

I'm running a JL500/1 and it hits very clean and loud with my 2 12in Type R's.
