When the music keg came out, I was able to get one for $100 through kenwood accommodations. It was hard to do, but I gave up my CDA-7995 for a Kenwood eXcelon HU... I'm an audiophile, and yanno what? The difference wasn't so bad!
Alpine also has an HU with built-in 10GB HD -- you can do that too (forget the model # though, sorry).
