My A6 is coming with the standard stereo package. As a first upgrade, I am
planning to add an amp and a subwoofer. The choice I am leaning to is:
PG XS6600 amp and Boston Acoustics Pro 12.5 Sub
(50X4+300W)
Does this seem like a good choice?
In the next upgrade I plan to replace the fronts with BA pro separates and rear with BA pro coaxs.
In the sub, Boston offers a 2-ohm sub and a 4-ohm sub. Can someone explain what factors need to be considered in making a choice between the two? I should add that I listened to JL audio 12W6, Infinity perfect 12" and the Boston pros, and they all were very good. I just felt a personal preference towards the Bostons. Also, I heard the 10" versions of each one too, and again, while the power from 10 was pretty impressive, I felt like I will not be happy if I do not go with the 12s. Any comments?<p>sanjay
