What kind of amp should I get for my new Kicker S12L7 subwoofer. It is 400 rms and 750 max. Also..

What is better for the a4.....a sealed or ported box??? I want to have a loud but tight sound. Thanks for the help.

PPI, Xtant, etc for the amps. A well designed ported box can be as good or better than sealed, but

a sealed box is easier to make.

Personally, I have a 400W PPI PowerClass running a BostonPro 12" in a sealed box.

Those thing are loud. very deep bass. Just go with Kicker amp themself, make sure you get hi-wattages, get the sealed box that go with it. Those Kicker only best is the sealed not the ported.
The cool grill run you around $35.

ohh but a quality ported sounds sooo good with little power
