what kind of screws should I use to mount an amp to the back of a seat?

Default what kind of screws should I use to mount an amp to the back of a seat?
going in a 2002 Jetta 1.8T...? Anything special?

Default Probably just regular wood screws. About 3/4" to 1" long, depending on the amp.
Just remember that the heat from the amp will melt the carpeting on the back of the seat, so if you ever remove the amps, there may be a permanent "footprint" left.

Default Good point. If I had a car with a real trunk (not a hatch), I'd mount it here . . .

Default make sure to use good screws, and possibly expansion holes in the back of the seat...
I mounted my amp on the back seat of my 01.5 A4 and after a couple of times lowering the seat and raising it back up, the top of the amp ripped out of the seat, just the force, theres a blurry pic of where the amp is in my pic poster...
