What is the purpose of putting "fill" in a sealed sub enclosure? Other help needed also..

You mean a Bazooka or the like (prefab)? I wouldn't do that. Poly is ~$1-2 at Walmart.

Because those are set to spec at the factory and it would probably sound horrible.
