What will sound better?
I have an Alpine T503 Amp which puts out 300Watts RMS at 4ohms at 14.4 volts currently hooked up to a JL10W3 D4. The sub is wired in series so the amp sees 8 ohms.
I can buy an Infinity Perfect 10.1, and wire that in at 4 ohms.
Will there be a big difference? How much power is going to my sub right now?

If the amp is seeing 8ohm it is putting out ~150w RMS(if your specs are correct) and will send 300w
to the Infinity Perfect at 4ohm.
The Perfect at 4ohm/300w will sound better and louder.
What does the D4 mean about your JL sub?
