Default What's the difference between a JL 10W1 and a JL10W3?

I had a 10" JL 10W1 in my old truck which i thought was a perfect sub, made lots of bass, was clean...in a sealed box.

Cheers

Default power handling, xmax, capable output, airspace requirements...

Pretty much every spec is different.

Whats the outcome? A W3 will handle A LOT more power than a W1 and it will get louder.

W3's are also A LOT more expensive.

A W1 and W3 will sound just as good at given volumes in general, but a W3 will be able to exceed the volume of a W1 w/o distorting.

The W3s are higher quality subs.
