I did! And because my box was smaller than recommended. Fiberfill makes it "feel" larger for the sub

Default so does it make it less "tight" and more boomy, or just tricks the sub into thinking there's more

space?

Default stuffing a box correctly makes a sub sound tighter/less boomy which is an artifact of tricking the

driver into thinking the box is larger than it actualy is, by absorbing/reducing the reflections from waves produced from the backside of the driver off the interior of the box.

Default i took mine out and sub hits lower now, i think the fill just

reduces the volume

in a sealed box the pressure is constant, any sound(pressure) created would be spread in the box.

Most people only use polyfill in a sealed box

whatever box design you go with, try to use MDF instead of particle board or plywood
