Who sells dynaudio? Warranty? Cheaper than local?

Re: Who sells dynaudio? Warranty? Cheaper than local?
I bought my Dynaudio setup from an authorized dealer. Figured the 15% difference between his price and the same from an unauthorized 'net retailer was just the cost of the 3-year warranty. Seemed like a good value to me.

Re: $750 from my local dealer. $400 from ebay. Ummmm....slightly more than 15% ;)
Well, eBay pricing is a whole nother beast, but for the System 240 mk II, the MSRP seems to be $650 and the 'net retailer prices between $505 and $585. The guys offering it for $505 don't have it and the other guys "special order".

Re: oSo no online dealers with warranty?
Check w/ Dynaudio. To my knowledge, there are no authorized online retailers in the US. Maybe someday Ampman will carry it to complement the other lines like Rainbow/ARC/Helix/Brax etc. for which they are the only authorized online retailer. But for the rest of these online shops, and I mean no offense, it's always the same song and dance "the equipment is New, in-box. We'll take care of warranty claims blah, blah, blah." Let's say you could get your same, new A4 from a non-authorized dealer, for 30% less, and any warranty claims go thru them, not Audi. Good deal? Nahhhhhh. If I'm doing business with a reputable brand/manufacturer, why introduce uncertainty into the equation by then buying it from a vendor who's ability to warranty the product I have no basis for judging? At least with an authorized dealer, the manufacturer is saying "you don't have to know and trust this seller, we do and we'll stand behind what you purchase from them." And yes, for that you pay a premium. Whether it's worth it to you is a purely personal decision.

Re: Dyn's WLQ 240 (newer ver.of 240mk2, with XM280 xover instead of 220mk2's XM250): about $390
Just wondering, if the System 240 is still running the MB100 tweets, what's the point of the 280 x-over which is made for the larger 130 tweets?
