will 6.5" speakers fit in my 2002 a4? are there 6x9's in the back?
the factory size is 6.75--weird size--and crutchfield lists 5 1/4's as an option but what about 6 1/2's??? they would sound SO much better

Does your car have Bose?
If so, here are the specs...
2" dash mounted center fill speaker
1.5" tweeters and 6.5" wide range speakers in front and rear doors
9" Nd R Woofer in rear shelf
If you don't have Bose, I think the stock speaker sizes are the same, excluding the center fill speaker, which you don't have.
As for replacements, 6.5" aftermarket speakers shouldn't be a problem. I think that's what most people are replacing theirs with. Also, you might want to post this in the 02+ A4 forum for more responses...
