Will the sound improve if I just replace the speakers?

I have a stock 2001 A4. The sound is marginal at best and i was wonmdering if there would be a benefit to upgrading the speakers. I don't really want to replace the stock HU

yup, depends how much you spend, it can sound a lot better

go out and demo some speakers, speakers is only preference

I like Kenwood, and Focal

For inexpensive speakers, I think Kenwoods are very good

I like Focals better than MB quart
