would i notice any difference? or could i add an amp to the radio without any wire cutting.

There's a noticeable difference in the midrange. I added Boston Rally's with the MBQuart adapters and a PPI amp to power the fronts. I also added a sealed 10" sub. Sounds SO much better.
My bud has the Bose and he added his own subs. The bass is great but there's midrange missing big time in the front. You can't help but notice the "hole" in the music up front. The bose is clear at high volume but the 4" drivers are not cutting it.

Did you need to trim down the Quart adaptors or cut on the metal frame in your doors? Which PPI amp did you go with?

Also, I am using a PPI PC450 (50W x 4). I have 50W each to the Rally's up front and the other 2 bridged to power a single 10W0 in a sealed .65cu box. Good SQ. I have enough power to upgrade to two 10s.
