Default x-post allroad - Can anyone tell me if the cable to the CD

Changer of an 02 allroad (Symphony II) is a single, continuous cable coming out of the head unit, or if it is an extension cable that plugs into a connection from the back of the Bose and then leads to the rear.

If it is an extension cable, is the connection at the rear of the Bose the same 13 pin connection? Male or female?

I am trying to hard wire my MyFi XM radio's audio out into the CD Changer's cable. I had presumed that the Bose head unit had a short connection coming directly out of the head unit and then an extension cable that plugged into that connection that runs back to the rear. But the guys at Car Toys said it was one continuous cable from head unit to CD Changer compartment in the rear of car.

I would like to avoid the long run of RCA line out cable from the rear CD Changer connection point back to the front MyFi location for sound quality reasons.

Thanks

Default It's one cable, and you can splice into it at the H/U, but you can't simply disconnect the changer..

and expect this will work.
The changer is present to open the input to the H/u.
remove the changer and you have no input.

Default Darn. I do not have the CD Changer installed. It's just the

existing connection point in the rear I need to tie into. Do you know any reason that the P.I.E. AUD-AUX input converter would not work with an MyFi connected via RCA?

Thanks
