Default "Cloudy" chrome trim - how to clean?

Just spent half of Sunday (Fathers Day) detailing the exterior of my 2001 S8 with the P21S products that my daughters got me for Fathers Day. It came out nice, but I noticed that some of the chrome trim around the windows and on the door rub strips looks cloudy in spots, not sure if this is due to environment (car usually parked outside) or cleaning products used in past.

I am a Noob at detailing, anyone have good tips / products to try and clear this up?

Default What have you used in the past?

Seems too new for the chrome to have oxidized. But the "cloudiness" you're talking about sounds like what happens when you use a strong acid cleaner on clearcoated wheels. But I can't imagine you've used something like that on the body or trim. Still, it makes me wonder what you've used in the past.
