Default Check out the following faq... Essentially distilled vinegar, and maybe a cleaner if bad

Remember to re-wax following these treatments.

Default "Acid rain" spots? I know what water spots are, but what are "acid rain" spots?

Water spots are mineral deposits left behind on the finish after the water has evaporated. If you're talking about something else, like spots caused by acid rain etching the paint (man, that must be some acidic rain!!!), I'd be interested to know where you live, and exactly what those spots look like. Thanks.

The vinegar solution may remove waterspots, but not acid rain etches. If the vinegar does not do the job, then the paint is etched.
There are a couple of technical articles regarding this on www.autoint.com under the Magazine Articles section and more information under Tech Tips section and the OEM/TSB section.

http://www.autoint.com</a
