Default Is that a type of Scotchguard made for convertible tops/outdoor fabrics?

If not, I'd question its suitability. Why not go with a product made for convertible tops? 303 makes both a fabric cleaner and protectant for convertible tops. I don't think I've ever heard a negative thing about 303's products, which leads me to believe that they make only quality stuff that does the job they say it will do. Unless you're talking about a type of Scotchguard made for automobile tops, I'd go instead with something like the 303 products.

Default Why would you do this? Just use

a quality top cleaner and protectant. I've had great results from the Porsche products.
